What we are already doing

  • An Environmental Policy which can be found here
  • Sustainable Procurement Policy for new goods and services

  • Quooker Boiling Water Tap and Energy Efficient white goods

  • Mixer taps with sensors to reduce waste

  • Bicycle racks for sustainable travel

  • Segregating Waste – food, mixed recycling, and composting

What we plan to do!

The team are currently looking at ways to fund the following initiatives to create a sustainable community building, to reduce our carbon footprint.

  • Measure all waste

  • Water Butts to be strategically placed to capture rainwater

  • Additional Hot Composter to allow more food waste recycling

  • Implement Indoor Plants throughout the Centre

  • Replacement of last few fluorescent light bulbs with LED and Motion Sensors in communal spaces
  • Installation of Solar Panels
  • Insulation of loft and flat roof

ETNA would like to thank City Bridge Foundation for funding the Eco Audit and allowing us to take the next steps to creating a sustainable Centre
