Volunteering With Us

ETNA is a welcoming and vibrant Community Centre in the heart of TW1. The ethos of ETNA is to be a place where the local community feel welcome and part of the Centre. The team appreciates the contribution of volunteers, and we involve volunteers to help us to maximise limited resources and provide a smooth and friendly customer service to everyone visiting the Centre. We hope, in return to give you the opportunity to immerse yourself and become a part of our community.

Our Roles

Gardening Volunteer

The role is to help develop and maintain our Sensory Garden by undertaking gardening maintenance jobs which will vary depending on the season.

You will work with the Facilities Coordinator to carry out regular gardening duties to ensure that the garden is kept in good order and to make the space safe for all visitors. Occasionally we may have corporate groups of volunteers to help us carry out larger tasks seasonally.

The key aspect of this role is to expand the diversity of the garden zones and to ensure its future sustainability, as a community run garden space for people. It would be an opportunity to use your knowledge and interest in gardening to create a space that works for the whole community. You will also be required to communicate what the Centre has to offer, as a representative of the ETNA team.
