Volunteering With Us
Our Roles
Meet and Greet Volunteer
The role of the Meet and Greet Volunteer is to provide a friendly, welcoming and helpful environment, to offer directional advice and practical assistance as required to everyone visiting the Centre. A key aspect to this role will be to recognise the wide variety of people and groups using the building such as: our Charity partners, variety of clients running their activities, visitors, café users and general public coming to the Centre.

Gardening Volunteer
The role is to help develop and maintain our Sensory Garden by undertaking gardening maintenance jobs which will vary depending on the season.
You will work with the Facilities Coordinator to carry out regular gardening duties to ensure that the garden is kept in good order and to make the space safe for all visitors. Occasionally we may have corporate groups of volunteers to help us carry out larger tasks seasonally.
The key aspect of this role is to expand the diversity of the garden zones and to ensure its future sustainability, as a community run garden space for people. It would be an opportunity to use your knowledge and interest in gardening to create a space that works for the whole community. You will also be required to communicate what the Centre has to offer, as a representative of the ETNA team.
