One Day Yoga Retreat in Richmond – with Ravi Dixit
Celebrate the arrival of spring by stepping out of your day-to-day routine and giving yourself space to reset and recharge. This day retreat will nourish your body and mind, with Authentic Yoga, Pranayama, Mantra and Meditation at the welcoming and bright ETNA Centre in Richmond.
The day will start a dynamic yoga practice focusing on connecting movement with breath, improving strength and flexibility. Lunch will be served in the ETNA Café and will be a mix of vegetarian & vegan dishes, fresh salads (and may even have some of Ravi’s home cooked Indian food) The afternoon session will focus on relaxation with a session on Mudras & Mantras, singing bowls and a candle meditation.
We finish the afternoon with a walk through Marble Hill Park and the Richmond Riverside (optional and weather permitting)
All proceeds of this day go to fund education for three children in India aged 12, 15 and 16. All three children belong to the same family who I know well and are unable to pay for school funds. I will be paying the funds directly to the school. To protect the identity and privacy of the children, we won’t be sharing their details publicly, but will send you more information upon booking. Make your own witches ball (and learn what is a witches ball?), complete with your own designed Sidgel as we guide you through all the spiritual history, symbols and tools you need to protect your energy from people and your environment.
What is the difference between a Hex and a Curse? The Valley of the Dolls, is this a true story? What to do if your home space energy isn’t right or you suspect spirit energy? Is this a good thing or bad thing?
Bring self-compassion into your daily life, finding balance and harmony as you go out into the world equipped to protect and look after yourself.

The camp run by Urban Fun, is designed for children aged 5-10. It begins with an introduction to Architecture and (Urban) Planning. With sustainability integrated into everything they do and green living emphasised throughout the camp.
Starting from the very first day, the children will be designing their projects, whether houses or rooms. They will be sketching initial ideas after choosing the location of project.
The children will work individually on their designs, plus they participate in group activities and games.
On the last day of the workshop, children will present their design projects and go home with a finished architectural project/design..

The ‘Awaken in April’ yoga day retreat will be a beautiful opportunity for you to rejuvenate, grow and flourish.
Awakening you to the energy and opportunity of spring, we will guide you through practices designed to energise and rejuvenate you. Aligning with the heart ‘anahata’ chakra (meaning wheel of energy), the asanas (physical postures) will open the body and connect you with the green transformative energy of this chakra.
The day will include three yoga practices, mindful time, food refreshments and a goody bag.
Open to all levels of experience so whether you’re new to rolling out your mat or have an established practice, everyone is welcome and will be looked after.
What to expect?
🧘🏼♀️Meditation and Rejuvenating Vinyasa: Arrive and awaken with a metta ‘loving kindness’ meditation and rejuvenating vinyasa ‘flow’ style yoga practice.
😴Yoga Nidra: After enjoying a freshly prepared vegetarian lunch, you’ll be guided through a heart chakra ‘anahata’ themed yoga nidra (‘yoga sleep’) session, known for its restorative qualities.
📚Mindful ‘you’ time: In between the afternoon practices there will be quiet time for you to indulge in an activity you don’t normally get the time to do, like read a book or listen to music, etc.
We’ll also support you with some ideas and options for mindful activities.
☯️Yin & Yang Yoga Practice: A practice that will combine the release of yin yoga with the energising quality of yang-based yoga. Giving you a spring in your step as the day concludes.
With all aspects of the day taken care of, all you need to do is show up and enjoy the experience.

Celebrating the Full Moon helps us observe the rhythm of time, and is the perfect time for spiritual reflection. It is the perfect time for meditation and a release of the energy that has been building since the previous New Moon.
It is time to unburden yourself, revisit the intentions you set at the New Moon, and decide what to bring forward with you, and what to let go if it is no longer serving you.
Yoga mats will be provided but feel free to bring your own, if you prefer. Please bring any blankets, yoga blocks, eye pillows or drinks that you would like. Please also bring whatever notebook, paper or device you like to use for journaling.
