Neil from Gong Room, has been holding space for relaxation and restoration using gongs, yoga nidra, breath-work and guided meditation for over 4 years. He works with a carefully curated selection of gongs, Himalayan singing bowls as well as drums and vocal chanting to set a sacred space for guests to find a coherent balance for the mind, body and spirit. During a gong session the sounds produced work on many levels, they allow the mind to be still and clear. The body absorbs micro vibrations from the instruments and becomes deeply relaxed, which allows the parasympathetic nervous system to bring restorative and naturally beneficial healing. As the mind and body are restoring this is a perfect time to connect with your own intentions and self reflection in a deep and nourishing place to discover guidance for your soul growth.

The Gong Room sessions last 90 minutes,  including the time to settle in to the space, an hour of sound followed by a cup of chai and time for those who wish to share and discuss their experience.

Wednesdays, 19.00 to 20.30, Community Kitchen
