I first fell in love with Pilates about 15 years ago when I was training at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. Whilst working as a dancer, I kept a keen interested in Pilates and always spent as much time as possible in the Physio room, before my three year Pilates Teacher training in South Kensington. I teach at a few studios including Pilates Plus in St Margarets.
Since I have been teaching, I can see all the wonderful benefits of Pilates with my clients, for example, increased strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, body function posture. However, quite a lot of my clients were lacking in aerobic fitness the benefits of which are endless, mainly in strengthening your heart and lungs, lowering cholesterol, improve immune function, lowering blood pressure, weight loss and keeping the elasticity in your facia (literally keeping a spring in your step). Mondays, 4.00-5.00pm (in the Hall)
I still work as a dancer as well as a Pilates instructor and love combining the both in this class.
